To access cPanel on Google Cloud, you will need to follow these steps:
- First, log in to your Google Cloud console using your email and password.
- From the console dashboard, select the project that you want to access cPanel for.
- Click on the “Navigation menu” icon (three horizontal lines) located in the top-left corner of the console screen.
- In the navigation menu, scroll down to the “Compute Engine” section and select “VM Instances“.
- Find the VM instance that you want to access cPanel for, and click on the “SSH” button located to the right of the instance name.
- A new window will open, and you will be prompted to enter your username and password for the VM instance. Enter the required details to log in to the server.
Once logged in to the server, type the command “sudo /usr/local/cpanel/cpsrvd-ssl” to start cPanel.- Finally, access cPanel by entering your server IP address followed by the cPanel port number in your web browser. The default cPanel port number is 2083, so the URL would look like this: https://<server_IP_address>:2083
Note that you will need to have cPanel installed on your VM instance to be able to access it through this method. If you have not installed cPanel yet, you can do so by following the cPanel installation guide provided by your web host.
